Know what each holiday let really makes, and stay ready for HMRC
Record booking income and costs as you go, see profit by property and by tax year, and hand your accountant a tidy CSV in April instead of a shoebox of receipts.
A record-keeping tool, not tax advice. Included in the Host, Pro and Agency plans and the free trial.

Sorted by UK tax year
Everything is grouped from 6 April to 5 April, with totals for income, expenses and profit, for one property or your whole portfolio.
Categories that match your tax return
Expenses use the same headings as the property pages of a Self Assessment return: rates and insurance, repairs, finance costs, professional fees, services including cleaning, and more. From April 2025 furnished holiday lets are taxed like other property income, so tidy records matter.
Ready for Making Tax Digital
From April 2026, landlords with more than £50,000 of qualifying income send HMRC an update every quarter, falling to £30,000 in 2027 and £20,000 in 2028. HostSorted splits your figures into the four update periods, shows each deadline and can email you two weeks before each one.
Visitor levies worked out for you
Wales is bringing in £1.30 per person per night and Edinburgh 5% of the first five nights. We work out what you owe from your bookings, using guest numbers from your house rules agreements and guest register, and give you a CSV for your return.
Export for your accountant
Download a CSV for any tax year, quarter and property. Repairs logged in Maintenance are added automatically when you mark them done with a cost.
