Set up your virtual guestbook
A public page of reviews to link from your website, with guest-written entries marked as such.
- On a property, open the Guestbook tab and tick Show my guestbook page publicly. Add a title and welcome text, and click Save.
- Invite guests: enter their name and email (or leave the email blank and copy the link to send by WhatsApp or text). Each link works once, and their entry shows an Added by guest badge.
- Add reviews you were sent by message, email or card under Add a review you were given. These show as Shared by host. Only add genuine reviews with the guest's permission.
- Add photos of pages from your paper guestbook under Add a guestbook page, with a transcript if the writing is hard to read.
- Copy your guestbook link and add it to your website, listings and social profiles. Hide or delete any entry at any time.
Good to know
- Send invites a day or two after check-out, when the stay is fresh.
- UK consumer law bans fake reviews and misleading review pages. Keep every entry genuine and don't only hide the less glowing ones.
